Hoots is holding his saxaphone and is standing on a black base with a red button and a gold name plate with his name and the Sesame Street logo on the front of the base. When activated via push button, Hoots turns his head, moves his beak, and moves his wings so he plays the saxaphone as he says 10 phrases and sings "Put Down the Duckie" and "The Birdcall Boogie"
