The Mikuru Asahina Lifesize Greeter was an item made in 2009, based off the anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
She's wearing her maid outfit, standing on a black base with a purple button, and is holding a small black tray, which you can put some candy or other food/drink items in. When activated via push button, motion sensor, or sound sensor, Mikuru turns her head and moves her mouth while she says 15 different phrases (8 original, 7 from the anime), and her own version of "We're Not Gonna Take It".
- She was sold at Walmart for $99.99, and at Lowes for $129.99
- Despite not being a Halloween item, she was sold around August- October near the Halloween section.
- This item was originally supposed to cry, but the tears would cause the mechanism to rust.
- About 50 of these were accidentally released with the Hunchback Treat Greeters recording, these were only sold in Florida, Ohio, and Kansas.
